The Toc, Polenta with hands _15 February

Last chance for our most ‘local’ gastronomic rendezvous ! The exclusive, the true, the only, the convivial TOC that we all eat around the pot (and please do NOT call it polenta uncia). I would like to remind the more refined that toc is eaten with the hands, you ‘touch’ it. But since appetite comes with walking, we will spend the morning discovering many hidden corners of the Bellagio area. Views of the lake, farmsteads, woods and even mysterious boulders. But at 12 noon everyone will have their legs under the table in an old farmhouse with a long history and where the products are truly those of the territory.

MEETING POINT: 9.30 a.m. CASCINA PRADA AGRITURISMO, Costa Prada, Bellagio

COSTS: € 20 + € 30 for lunch: plenty of toast, farmhouse cured meats and cheeses, galina ‘fregia’, i.e. boiled hen with stuffing on the side, ‘regell’ a digestive cooked wine served in the polenta pot, home-made cake, wine, water and coffee included.
