I truly enjoyed this hike with Gabriele. He showed beautiful paths and sights. He kept an excellent pace which was challenging yet still enjoyable- and knew when to give a break. He brought along snacks which were typical of the region-- and delicious! He was also kept up an engaging conversation. Finally, he sent a 3D-map of the walk as a memento. I highly recommend this hike and this guide. Lake Como is breathtaking with the most amazing scenery and the views over the lake of the mountains and villages were wonderful. I also enjoyed the smells of the autumnal trail where chestnuts lined the route. My very experienced guide for the day had a wealth of knowledge about the local area as he grew up in Lecco, and as he also spent many years in the UK, communication was no barrier between us as we hiked the Viandante trail between Bellano & Varenna. Thanks Gabriele for a enjoyable, heart-pumping and memorable day!

Just completed a 61 km cycling tour around Lake Como with Gabriele. What a fabulous day with such a professional guide. In addition to seeing stunning scenery we learned a lot of interesting historical information about the villages we cycled through. Gabriele was particularly attentive to our safety at all times and ensured that we could use our hybrid bikes confidently. He even took us to his favourite coffee shop in Como and gave us an opportunity to go into the wonderful cathedral. I highly recommend Gabriele as a guide through the landscape of Lake Como and beyond. My experience of hiking up the mountains included Gabri’s knowledge of the terrain, plants and animals, and learning old world mountain songs. Never a dull moment and always in good spirits. here is a lot to explore in this region of Italy, and what better way to experience the gems than with a local!

This was our first time biking in the area and we didn´t know where to find the more technical mtb-trails. Thanks to Gabriele we had really fun forest trails with many exciting downhill sections. We were also shown breathtaking viewpoints and beautiful villages along the way. Gabriele is a really nice guy, he also speaks excellent English and told us a lot of interesting stuff about the Como area. We would absolutely recommend him to get the best mtb-adventures in the area. Many thanks, hope to do this again in the future.

Lake Como and the peaks and valleys that surround will astonish you, that's for sure. We really got under the skin of the place thanks to Gabri. I'll never forget the ascent of Monte Resegone. It was made very special with brilliant stories and guides that knew the fauna and flora well - we even spotted some Chamois! Really safe and thoughtfully routed it was a stand out day on our trip.

Cycling was fantastic too with exciting routes chosen to accomodate the different levels of ability in our group. You'll know about it the next day but the memories last a great deal longer than any aches. We stopped at a rifugio where we were served food that almost convinced us to abandon the bikes! Oustanding guides that'll give you the best of the area.....showing you the kind of thing you set out to see and taking you to places you had no idea exsisted! Highly recommended. Thanks again - we'll be back!
