A hike through the woods of Brianza and workshop on the farm where we make goats, from milking to the finished cheese!

A return to our origins, away from industrial realities, offices, traffic, let’s go and discover rural life, that of our grandparents, simple and humble, among goats, chickens, pigs, free, free-range and happy animals!

Departing from Mondonico, we cross a forest, reach the picturesque village of Paù, and from here the Brambilla farm: here young Nicola and his faithful dogs get their hands (and paws!) dirty ‘regulating’ some sixty goats.

We assist and practice milking, observe the curd, and enjoy pouring the cheese into moulds for ripening. We buy taleggio, goat’s cheese, ricotta, eggs and other fresh products!

Once the workshop is over, we have lunch on a nice table at the farm, and in the early afternoon we resume our walk, in the company of the goats, across the clearing, then through the woods to the charming hamlet of Campsirago. Here we find a bar with services, and continue on to Cagliano and then Mondonico, our starting point.
