MENAGGIO Villa Mylius Vigoni A splendid 19th-century mansion located in Loveno, The villa was purchased and renovated in 1829 by German entrepreneur Henry Mylius, who transformed it into a meeting place for Italian and German artists and writers. The mansion has been enriched over the years with art objects, becoming a kind of house-museum. Bequeathed to the Federal Republic of Germany by its last owner, writer Ignazio Vigoni, the villa is now home to the Italian-German Center and hosts conferences, seminars and events. SAN SIRO VILLA LA GAETA The villa occupies the same site as an earlier, much more modest structure that was dismantled x the construction of the new dwelling.
