Those who have been to the Norwegian fjords tell of a similar landscape…the contrast of the white snow cover with the blue water.
The snow-capped Mount Bregano is something superlative!
Lake Como in its full extent before our eyes for almost the entire route. From the summit of Bregagno, the panorama is enchanting over much of the Alpine arc. With snow, all this is enhanced.
We start from Montuglio (m 1138), a beautiful village in the Larian mountains. After about 40 minutes of walking we reach
Alpe Rescascìa (1413 m), we continue along the
on the path that leads to Sant’Amate (1623 m). From
this point along the ridge until the
peaks of Monte Bregagnino (1905 m) and Bregagno (2107 m). We fill our eyes with beauty, have lunch, and down along the snowy mantle!
What to bring: Snowshoes or snowshoes (you will be notified a few days in advance depending on the type of snow, please contact us if you need the equipment), essential poles, hiking boots, useful gaiters, rucksack, water bottle, packed lunch, layered clothing.
