A lovely walk and wine tasting among vineyards and quaint agriturismo in the rolling hills of Brianza.

Between lake Como and Milan lies a green hilly area named Brianza, a mosaic of small woods, streams and agriculture lands, renowned for its fine wines and goat cheese! We’ll be talking a stroll across this beautiful park which has nothing to envy  to the rolling hills of Tuscany!

From our meeting point we’ll walk on a wide bridleway among fields and farms till Ca’ del Soldato , home to a little museum. From there we’ll proceed along a path through the woods (a little steep in some sections but never difficult) to Montevecchia, a charming village on top of a hill overlooking the whole park. If you fancy you can climb up the 180 steps to the shrine, where the view is even more spectacular!

Across the beautiful square we’ll soon reach a quaint agriturismo, our stop for wine tasting. Our host will first take us through the vineyards, where we’ll have our first glass. We then move down to the beautiful cellar to taste more locally produced IGT wines accompanied by Montevecchia’s cheese, prosciutto and salame. If you fancy staying over for dinner let us know, we can organise that! The descent is easy via a paved road through the woods.
