No cars, no climbs, pure enjoyment on a cycle path along the Adda river, discovering the traces of Leonardo da Vinci…
Cycling on a quiet cycle path without ever encountering roads or cars, all on level ground, the Adda river always at our side to give us glimpses of nature, boats and beautiful buildings. Within everyone’s reach, all you need is a minimum of experience in riding a bike!
We find ourselves in Imbersago, in front of us the famous Traghetto di Leonardo, we will discover the genius of this invention, and Leonardo will accompany us along our route: we will pass the navigable canals thanks to the porte vinciane, we will see the three horns, the background of the famous painting of the Vergine delle Rocce.
We will pass by the Semenza power station, the San Michele bridge, an engineering masterpiece and one of the symbols of Italian industrial archaeology. A pleasant ride, little fatigue and lots of beauty to experience!
The route runs between Paderno and Olginate along the towpath of the River Adda.
