It’s time to seek refreshment in the streams flowing down from the peaks of the Grigna.
We go walking and … swimming to discover the Meria and Val Mala torrents.
Rocks of all shapes and colours worked by the water, crystal clear pools, waterfalls and cascades, lush vegetation, a forest of yews.
Partly on foot and partly by foot in the water we explore this magnificent canyon, which rises from the lake to the Era huts and further up to the peaks.
Ours will be avery ‘bathing’ hike, alternating between ascents in boots and refreshing swims in the cool pools. One of my favourite summer hikes.

COSTS AND TIMETABLE: cost € 20 . Meeting point Parking Bione in Lecco at 9.00 am. From there with a few cars in about 15 minutes we reach Somana, a hamlet of Mandello del Lario
WHAT TO BRING: Hiking shoes, creek sandals! (there are specific technical ones, but classic rock sandals are also fine) swimming costume, towel, rucksack, water bottle. Do not hesitate to contact us for any clarification. PACKED LUNCH
Difficulty level: You walk on mule tracks and mountain paths that are steep or uneven in places.
