Yes, friends accustomed to trails, this time we offer you an experience on the water, a nice cool-down chasing the wind and waves.
In cooperation with FuoriDiVela , we invite you to the Baptism of the Sailor.
A day dedicated to sailing!
The place is really beautiful, in the village of Dorio the attendance is quiet and without crowds, the view from the lake exciting.
You cannot deny yourself this experience in our small but extraordinary ‘sea’. It starts with a beautiful walk between the Wayfarer and the lake to our nautical base.
There, our young instructors are waiting for us, a short theoretical course on the art of sailing, we eat a packed lunch and, as soon as the ‘Breva’ arrives, off we go! In crews of 4-5 people, we dive into the waves for an afternoon of splashing and laughter.
Back in the roadstead, wet and …. tanned, we have time to enjoy the sun, the breeze and a glass of wine before setting off again, tired and happy, with the desire to try the wind again….
LEVEL: + 150 m approx.
LENGTH: approx. 8 km a/r
MEETING POINT: 10.00 am at the GALLI EZIO car park in via Fiandra 15, Lecco. From there, with a few cars in about half an hour we reach Dervio (pay car park).
Cost: 20 € + 40 € for FuoriDiVela (boat rental, instructor, wetsuit and lifejacket) – ATTENTION: limited places
What to bring: sports shoes, swimming costume and change of clothes, towel, sun cream, full water bottle. PACKED LUNCH
Difficulty: cobblestones and mule tracks.
